I think you are exactly right. Mine does the same thing, buzz from the key at 5k up. Maybe put some rubber between the ignition and where it mounts?

Thanks guys. I really appreciate the help. But it runs funky during the high idle warm up, but never changes no matter how hot it is. I am thinking some type of fuel maybe air issue because I have the occasional hiccup when taking off if I do not rev the engine up and the occasional jerking/bog...

Honestly, I did not notice it at 800 miles, but I was so excited at that stage I might not have noticed it, lol. I think it had the occasional hiccup when idling, just feel like its getting worse. I am running 93 octane fuel, could that be it? I think I am going to take the tank off this weekend...

Nope, been doing this for a few tanks of gas. Even tried seafoam.

Bike had 800 miles on it when I got it a couple of weeks ago, now has 1500.

Changed the oil, nothing else. Seems to be getting progressively worse too. And I am also noticing a hiccup sometimes when starting off and a bog at low rpm's under load.

Don’t know if you can hear it in the video, but it almost sounds like a miss? Goes away when I give it any amount of gas. Does it cold or hot. Any ideas?

Changed the oil last night, used Honda HP4S 10w-30 and a Honda filter. So far the shifting is much smoother!

I just want to add a similar experience with Mobil 1 4T 10w-40 oil. I have a fairly new, 1k miles 18 CB650f that I bought with 800 miles. After a few days I decided to change the oil, used a Honda filter with the Mobil 1 oil. Since then I have been getting inconsistent shifts, false neutrals...

Thanks guys, I got a killer deal on it. I was looking for an FZ/MT-07 but they were all either modded or out of my price range. The CB650F/R's are pretty hard to find and found this one almost like new(aside from the bent exhaust cover), no scratches and title in had. Drove 6 hours for it!
