CB650R No start without throttle, can't maintain idle, appeared after air filter change by me

I probably fucked something up. I changed the air filter recently, removing the tank, etc. After putting everything back on I started the bike for about 20 seconds to confirm it runs and it was fine. Then, after sitting for 3 days I went to start it, it started for half a second then died and it now starts only if I give it throttle. If I stop giving throttle it dies. I lifted the tank twice looking for something unplugged and giving all connectors a nudge but found nothing. I'll attach a video and some photos below.

what air filter are you using? I once had an aftermarket filter that would not perform well in the rain or after washing the bike

Try doing it as shown in the picture to see if it works.

Apologies, I opened a lot of channels when I was diagnosing this since I thought I fucked it after checking everything multiple times and I apparently missed to report the results here. Posting this for any future visitors.

The solution was to stop being scared and to rev it a little on startup. I held it at ~3k (was the goal at least) for ~half a minute and it kept the RPMs afterwards. I wasn't committing to it so I was killing it just as it'd start. My guess is that the ECU couldn't adapt to the brand new filter and needed a moment to calibrate. Never had an issue since.

Thank you to everyone who replied with suggestions.

Photos of the filter for context. I guess it was pretty mucky. 14460 km of usage in all weather. (Had no car so it's seen a lot of rain and some snow, as stupid as that was in retrospective)

Lan @Lan thank you for reporting back and glad you got it fixed. When I replaced my exhaust I remember it was hard to start at first until it adapted to the everything and was perfect after.
