Hello!

Anyone fit clip ons to the standard cb650r 2019+ model? It would be nice with adjustable in height aswell as angle. :)

Thankful for tips!

There is already someone that did put clip ons
Using the stock CBR650R

My bike :)

There's also posts about other aftermarket clip ons like the woodcraft 3" riser. You'll need a 48mm clamp. I'd suggest getting riser of at least 2.5". My stock cbr650r clip ones only have 1.25" rise I believe and it touches the air intake cowls on full turn. Bit of a pain for parking maneuvering.

Another forum user named tiptup also used the Woodcraft clip-ons with a 3" riser. My question is, how the hell did these guys↓ get away with those minimal rise? Do you think they all have interference issues with the air intake cowl?

Apparently the woodcraft 3" rise is perfect and has good clearance according to a couple people that have installed on the CB650R.

The red bike there from France is using the OEM cbr650r 1.5" rise clip ons which is what I did for a while. You will see he rotated the as far forward as possible. It doesn't clear the top of the airbox but at that sweep angle it gives you enough room for a full turn. As soon as you rotate them back to a better sweep degree it'll pinch your fingers/thumb at a full turn which is what I experienced.

I loved the ergonomics of the OEM clipons but my narrow garage made it a bit difficult for me to park the bike so I switched back to handlbars

Wait, I don't get it. How is a full turn possible when you don't have the clearance over the airbox?

I think I actually get it: you mean the clipons are not higher than the airbox but thanks to their forward angle they don't touch it even when fully locked, right?
