Bought my second cbr650r previous 24 eclutch model, got hit by a semi and totaled it love the mike so much I bought a 25 model, dealer gave me 1700$ off walked out loving the new bike, I waited 200 miles to relearn the bike after not riding for 8 months, and I put a full exhaust 220mm catless baffled black widow exhaust, tail tidy, integrated tail light, and a few phone accessories, pulled the radiator drained the fluid and installed the exhaust, put it back on struggled with burping it because I couldn’t find anything online on how to burp it properly, eventually found a video on a 2019 model and realized there is an odd little tube I have to open to burb. Everything’s put back together and done nothing to be worried about, eventually a week later when back into it did the same process again after righting all the exhaust bolts again after heat cycling no issues, put back together. Not at 557 miles it’s got a tick it’s developed, really loud on start up after the bikes been running for 15-20 minutes it’s almost completely gone and only shows up if you listen really hard while raving, I need to know if I should take it to get warranties looked at before I do my oil change because they’ve tried already to deny me after I struggled with the coolant change burping it last time. Any tips? Anything I should be worried about?

For what ever reason I can’t post a link to the sound

My money (because you didn't mention it) is that the exhaust gaskets are leaking.

Every time you remove the exhaust headers you need to fit new gaskets.

The leak is probably closing up as the metal warms up and expands.

There is also no need to remove the radiator to swap the exhaust. Remove the bolts holding it on and either tip it forward or pull it off but leave the hoses connected.

Don’t make it harder than it is.
