I too purchased my seat from a eBay seller. this one had all the same hardware that the stock seat had on the under side of it so it locked in the same way/ place. Other then some some gaps that are not very noticeable it's perfect. It is firmer then stock. Also flatter so there is less sliding

I have the same split seat from thiland and never had any problems with the fit. Once it's on properly it STAYS LOCKED ON, although I did have to watch a YouTube video of how to get it on the proper way. Because I was having the same issues

I have taking mine on a 3hr ride with zero complaints I like it much better then stock
