Hey I'm new to bikes and was just wondering if anybody has done a tail tidy on a 2023 cb with this tail and if so how difficult was it, I took the seat off too see how easy it was and looks like it's gonna be very time consuming

i've got a mustard bikes kit, most of the factory ones i've seen thought have 4 bolts on the bottom holding the tail on. I was looking at mine and it looks like i have to take hack the back end appart just to get to the bolts holding the tail on, was wandeing if anybody had experience with the style of tail as it looks pretty convoluted

I had the same lizard tail on mine before I did Evotech tailtidy.. And yeah, you gotta take the rear end apart. There's really no other way. As long as you just take it easy and try not to rip things off blindly, it should be that hard..

Don't know the mustard's kit but, did it come with disassembly instructions? - if not, Im sure there are some in youtube or so.

It come with written instructions on how to install, and mustard has a video on how to put theirs together, but no video on how to actually install, I'm goint to tackle it this weekend, might take photos along the way and post a step by step for anyone with the same tail

I would take that whole stock ugly rear fender off and install one of those tiny carbon fiber tail tidy's from 007Plate.com

Oh and their tail tidy is also an electric license plate hider device in one ツ

If you get caught with one of those, the authorities do not take kindly to purposely hiding a license plate.

I put the mustard bikes one on yesterday and it wasnt actually that bad, just took some time with how much there is to take apart, other than that is was fairly easy. i dont want to put a plate hider on because i have no need for it, and no plans on doing anything dumb enough to be pulled over
