I've had the bike since February and it's already burnt through 2 license plate bulbs... I just put a new one like a month and half ago

any ideas? at this point I might just bring it to the dealer and tell em figure this out because I don't wanna get pulled over for that shit

I'd start from the rear and follow the wiring. There's got to be a crimped or threaded wire somewhere along the way.

Can't remember if you stated you modified the rear tail lights or not but, if you did, I'd re-check your wiring.

***Or maybe the soldering on the bulb housing is loose?

All I touched back there was turn signals. Hmmm, you think a crimped wire could be the issue? I bunched up all the wires under the tail and used the factory provided reusable zip tie to tidy things up. Hmmm..

All it takes is one exposed wire to touch metal! Or maybe you have some wires crossed. I'd start with the turn signal wires first, undo things and see what you can find. If this wasn't a problem until AFTER you did something with the turn signals then I'm betting there's where you should look first.
