2019 cb650r, bought a few weeks ago ,are they all so bloody noisy? The engine is giving me a headache . It's been checked out by 2 mechanics, serviced .mebe it's me . My beloved yamaha fz6 was nicked and I bought this because I like the looks .but the 2 bikes are.chalk and cheese, the yamaha was a gorgeous sweet characterful engine and the honda is like riding thunder ,are they all like it? Stock pipes btw

Hi , to.me, compared to my previous fz6 the engine has a very deep and loud character, that I'm.not sure I like. I'm assured its all good by two mechanics. Do the air intakes contribute to the racket?

The PAIR valves on the 650 platform are IMO horribly loud. One you plug/blank them it is a sweet purring engine.

Up.in Yorkshire , I briefly came across Pair valves somewhere, I'll have to look into it,it's a new one on me, thanks
