Hello, i just bought myself a CB 650F ABS with known bad ABS.
Of course i thought it would be a easy fix but sadly its not. The ABS does not work and the light stays on all the time when you ride it.
So first thing i did after the testride was reading out the Fault Codes and there were no in the ABS, but one fault in the ECM "86-1 Serial Communication Malfunction"
I deleted the code, and it came back immediately. Weird thing, this error code is only for the communication between the Instrument Cluster and ECM. It shouldnt affect the ABS...
I have NO Problems with my Instrument Cluster, Every Function that should work does.
Things i did so far: Replaced the Battery to a new one, checked wires of the ABS (I have the Original Honda Repair Manual and did it like the manual tells you to), Replaced the whole ABS Modulator and still nothing works.
So it seems like the fault 86-1 does affect my ABS.
I hope someone can help me.
Thanks so far (im from Germany sorry for bad english)
