All 650Fs Blinking DRL’s?

Is there a quick, easy way, or relay/adapter that will make the daytime running lights flash? I’m thinking it’ll help with visibility. I ride mostly country roads and not everyone out there is looking for motorcycles and there are a lot of minor roads that come into the highways I ride. Each time a car creeps up I get anxious haha (previous bad experience with someone pulling out right in front of me). I think the flashing will help catch people’s attention.

Signal Dynamics are one of the originators of this concept and most pulsating headlight people use their products though I don’t see anything listed for LED lights on their site:

That’s going to be your big hurdle, finding something that works for LED lighting.

I’d do some research before going down this road as they are not as “attention grabbing“ as it would seem and a lot of the research shows it can actually hurt visibility as a motorcycle. A flashing light doesn't immediately identify you as anything to most people so they get almost mesmerized by them and still keep moving. Then again others swear by them so you have to choose what works for you. Personally a quick flick of the high beam until I pass them gets attention on the back roads around here if I see someone start to move a bit.

Good luck!!!

Thanks for the link!

Hmm, I was unaware of that, I’ll look into it. My route has a lot of tractors and “oversized load” semis, all of which have flashing lights, so I figured it would help

Born and raised in Wisconsin, now live in Minnesota and the vast majority of my riding is in rural farming areas so I totally get your dilemma.

that could actually be more of a reason for you to not want blinking lights.

other road users are used to seeing those blinking lights, and immediately associating them with large, slow moving vehicles.

as a small, fast moving vehicle, this is going to confuse them. and may result in them attempting to pull out in front of you more, cause they think you are a slow moving tractor far down the road. since your lights will be so close together, and so small.

most road users are used to seeing a single narrow headlight, and recognize it as a motorcycle. i wouldnt do anything different.

i always ride with my highbeam on during the day. definitely recommend that
