I was on here a couple of weeks ago asking about how the constand worked as there was no instructions! Anyway, got all the necessary bits and have got it on this morning. And with some sound advice from the guys on here, not a hard job.
So...
1. Pretty simple design, 2 hex bolts to make the stand, although really tight to get them in, bit of WD40 to help ease them in.
2. 27mm 1/2 inch Socket required for one side. And a H12 Hex Socket required for the other.
3. Remove dust covers to access the mounting points. (Dust caps are tight!) Put the Socket and Hex in place and slide the stand into position.
4. Spanner or socket to wind in the long threaded bolts towards the socket and Hex, you have to stand the bike up a bit to get them lined up, not particularly difficult, just a little balance.
5. Tighten up the long threaded bolt.
6. Then.............foot down on the long handle and rock the bike back, this took a bit of effort, maybe because i hadn't done it before, but defiantly not as easy as the boy in the promo video!!!!
overall, nice and solid, good height for me, im 6"2'. Definetly and good buy, about £45 cheaper in total than an Abba stand, not had an ABBA stand so I can't compare it.
My chain needs a good clean and lube on the weekend.
Here's some pics.
