I need to polish dashboard (previous owner made some scratches on it) - wondering what are steps to remove it from the bike (CB650R)?

Ern818 @Ern818 before you remove, a forum poster here recommended a film covering from a UK based firm. The lens is especially prone to scratching, doesn't take much. My lens had a small imperfection due to a cleaning attempt right from the dealer.... I ordered and installed the recommended product and it worked awesome. Less prone to scratching going forward and covered up the existing scratch (though minor, was visible and annoying on my new bike)

Be patient, I'll find the name and website and post it here via edit. It'll save you a lot of work!

Here ya go https://www.speedo-angels.com/ take a look, the stuff actually works. I opted for the clear type, easy to install.

Using a moist microfiber wipe, wipes out like brandy new and completely covers prior imperfections.

+1 for Speedo Angles. I have one and it's really good. I bought mine from Amazon (same price as the website) and went with the ultra clear version.

Yep, I posted previously about the Speedo Angel. Just like fitting screen protector to a phone. Mine is still stuck to the dash after being in all sorts of weather and over 2000 miles of commuting, and you can clean the screen without worrying that you are going to scratch it.

saves bumfuckin' around .....easy install with screen in place....hides existing while preventing new scratches.

Use Novus 7100. Will take all the scratches out. Then apply that film from Speedo Angels. Was easy to apply mounted, probably much easier when its off.

Don't know if you still want to remove your dash but I recently uploaded a video on how to do it;

I thought I'd take a stab at the whole YouTube thing whilst I've got nothing better to do, feedback always appreciated!
