Just received a package of various two way and three way "Honda" connectors. Sourced from a Japanese company http://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/Elec__Products/Connectors/050_Connectors/050_connectors.html

I looked around but couldn't find anyone else who could ship to India (at a reasonable price). These guys had excellent service and communication and shipping was pretty damn good. Not cheap but when you want something specific what's money anyway.

Looking forward to tidying up some "Indian" wiring - twisted wires and electrical tape.

Well that's it. Gave myself a crash course on crimping (never even tried before) and wasted a few pins but got the gear indicator wiring done. It was beginning to cause a few problems anyway and kept resetting itself- must have been a poor connection.

Anyway all done now and looking a lot neater. Just added the insulating tape to keep out any moisture from the ends. Let's hope this keeps going.

Very nice. If you want to go for even more coverage, could get heat shrink tubing that seals around the connections.
Yes I've got some of that, but I was having such a hard time getting my head (or probably my fingers) around the art of crimping I didn't even think about it until afterwards. I might try on the female side to slide some over.

I looked on the website for kojaycat and couldn't see these connectors. Emailed them and they don't stock them. I was told to avoid using the easternbeaver website (sounds like code for a dodgy Czech hooker) and to check out http://cycleterminal.com/ in the US. Will have a look on here and see what they offer

Well it's up to you who you believe, because frankly I don't give a damn.

I dealt with easternbeaver and their service was excellent. Communication was excellent, Goods arrived within the timescale they suggested and they were exactly what I ordered - you can't say fairer than that.

Which gear indicator did you go for GiPro?

What connector are you wiring up to for the gear indicator, are you able to tell me which colour wire goes where? :)
