Hi all,
(Thread won’t let me post a video)
Just completed a full engine swap on my Cbr650r 2019 and everything seems to be working fine. I’m not sure if there’s an issue with the air intake.
I started it earlier today but for some reason I can hear this hissing sound which seems to be coming from the right side of the engine roughly around under the Airbox and by the throttle body.
I can’t for the life of me figure out where exactly it’s coming from. I’ve been checking everything just to see where it’s coming from.
Exhaust headers - checked and torqued
Head gasket is sealed correctly there’s no air bleeding out
The rubber boots on the throttle body are tight.
The only thing left to check is the spark plugs and see if they’re properly screwed in. But ofc don’t want to do this if I can avoid it due to it being an absolute hassle.
I just cannot for the life of me figure it out. Not sure if it’s even something to be worried about.
Any help would massively helpful
