I got the oxford Q30R tank bag and im unable to see the speedo dash when the tank bag is mounted. Unless i raise the position of the dash i will be unable to see the dash. So please suggest how can i get it done.

I cant mount the tank bag in the rear seat as i have a tail bag already in place to mount it there, I also dont like the looks of a luggage rack in place.

I am not sure how you would go about this, below is a video on removing the dash which gives a pretty good look at the mounting points for it, no real problem there, the cable length would presumably be the biggest issue with repositioning it i assume? There does not appear to be much slack in the cables that i can see.

best view i could find in the manual.

seems like to could extend the bolts on "7/8" and the spacers for "10" would give you some room maybe?

Brian C. @Brian C. That stock holder for the dash is slightly placed at an angle for easy viewing, so if we put spacers and bring the dash up it would hit the bars. I thought of the same and gave up the idea. I can make a base plate in aluminium to hold the dash but no idea where to mount that base plate. And as you mentioned not sure how long the cable can be extended, didnt think of it though.

Im kinda busy this weekend wont be able to dismantle and check. I will update here if i come up with an idea/solution. In the mean time ideas are welcome. ✌️

Would an aluminium spacer between the existing Base Plate (6) and the display (9) itself work for you? assuming you have the slack you could bolt the Spacer to the Display and then Bolt the spacer, with the Dash installed to the Base plate using the existing Bolts? If it works it would allow you to return it to stock easily too as you would be retaining all the mounting hardware.
Not sure how much you are looking to raise it as vibration may be an issue, but would be interesting to see. I have the CBR so cant really see behind the display for any slack in the cabling I'm afraid, but good luck with it!

The base plate is mounted to the triple clamp and bent ~30degrees towards the rider for easy view of the dash while riding. Hence if we put spacers ~1.5inch, the lower edge of the dash will hit the handle bar risers. So the spacers had to designed in an angle which is quite a task. What i have in mind is make a base plate that can hold the dash like the original setup and mount that where ever possible. The only thing is the cable slack limit has to be figured before doing any of this.
