I have the 2021 CB650R, which I love, ride every day, and plan to keep forever.
Someone in my Jiu Jitsu class has a 2001 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 that he wants to get out of his parents' garage and will sell for $500. I'm always skeptical of anything being offered at such a low price. He says it ran great when he was riding it, but it's been sitting in the garage for a few years so it will need work to get it running (new battery, drain the gas tank, change fluids, etc.).
Does this seem worth it? What can I look for when I go to see it to have an idea of its condition since I can't test-ride it???

- 9,000 miles
- No rust
- Dent on the tank (doesn't know how it got there - from previous owner)
