Hey fellas,

Just picked up a 2019 cbr650r ABS. Has a few mods but nothing major (?) imo.
Currently has drive recorder
Automatic ETC reader (payment system for JP tollways)
Tidy tail
Full exhaust (china made I think, but has a baffle and isn't insanely loud)
Factory quick shifter
Engine sliders (striker I think is the brand)

Not really necessary but I see a lot of folks from the UK in here. I'm an American (sorry) living in Tokyo.

Look forward to talking to you all!

Akrapovic made in China!? I think they're made in Slovenia. 🤔 Unless it's an Akrapuvic or Arkapovic or whatever the chinese used for the ripoff 😆

Absolutely a Chinese ripoff but no CEL and the sound is good so no complaints here (except for the shame of having a knockoff)

Well... at least looks and sounds good :)

On the CB I like the view of the four pipes and the triangular shaped exhaust, but on the CBR I must admit, it looks better with a traditional big exhaust.

But since you're in Tokyo, couldn't you get a Japanese one at a nice price? Yoshimura, for example, are nice and the red logo would match the red bike

Actually being in JP makes it significantly harder to get a decent exhaust! The restrictions are crazy here so getting one that passes inspection costs about 2500 USD. But anything other than that means I put the stock one back on during inspection time so I went for the most budget friendly option (while still sounding good).
(The cheapest yoshimura I found on an auction site was around 1100 USD and the auction wasn't even over yet. Bike parts go for a premium here)
