All 650's New type of engine guard

Hi all. I've never seen this type of engine guard. I'm currently on the hunt for proper engine guards, I'm not too keen on the GB racing type that cover the whole brown engine as I feel it ruins the aesthetics of the colors of the bike.

It seems like it's made of hard anodized aluminum. What do you guys reckon? Do you think it's good protection for the engine? Cheers

Do you have a link for these? The picture quality is pretty bad, so its difficult to make out details.
As i understand it the idea of the GB racing, or the R & G covers etc. is they are plastic and relatively soft to absorb impact, given these are "hard anodized aluminum" I would be concerned that they would transmit the force to the engine casings, rather than absorbing it?
Also once you scratch these it would show up really badly against the anodizing i think?

Oh. Didn't know the gb/rg covers were made of plastic. Actually yeah that makes sense that these aluminum covers, though look nice, would possibly transmit more force to the engine cases themselves. Sorry i don't have a link, i just saw it being sold on fb marketplace and those are the only pics available
