CB650R OEM handlebar weights replacements

I bought pair of handlebar weights, looking at them when they arrived and OEM spare parst list, I now have doubt if I can fit them instead of OEM ones
Anyone has experience with replacement of OEM by aftermarket ones? Will they fit?

note: I did not managed to remove OEM one yet (it turns with screw...)

They won’t fit. The OEM bar ends are notched and you have to align them up for proper fitment.

In order to get mine off when I did my Oxford heated grips I had to duct tape the bar ends to the grip and that provides a nice grip so they don’t spin when you remove the bar end screw.

Puig bar ends don't require handlebar mods.
Seen the attached picture they should fit with stock handlebar weights. The small cut out (blue arrow) is the same as the stock bar ends.

It seems only the Puig bar end with rim doesn't have the small cut out (even though the website says it doesn't require any mods to the bike)

R&G do some bar ends specifically for our bikes. However I think I remember someone saying the bar ends vibrated too much with the R&G ones fitted. Maybe someone who has fitted them can give you a better idea.

I used an electric impact driver to get the screw off. Just the screw rotated and not the sleeve inside. I replaced my handlebars with Renthals which have a thicker tubing and had to use the Renthal bar ends (which are not weighted). So far I haven’t noticed any vibration, but I have seen people add other weights when they felt the need to.
