There seems to be a wide variety of prices out there. I am looking at a DID 525 VX3 package via a Ebay shop but the JT front sprocket does not appear to have the rubber cushioning. Price is great but am nervous of the noise. Thoughts and recommendations please

Only the OEM countershaft sprockets have the rubber insert. I have used aftermarket front sprockets on another Honda and the lack of the rubber wasn't noticeable, to my ears at any rate.

I just had that exact chain and sprockets installed last week and i definitely noticed the front sprocket noise. Its still very quiet but to me it stands out alot since I've never heard the sprocket before, just a sound i need to get used to. Actually i love the sound of it, has a slight winding on sound to it when you accelerate, it makes you want to keep going (could say it adds a bit of character to the bike). Note: i wasn't wearing ear plugs so id assume if you wear some, you wont hear the sprocket at all.

Untrue.. Jt make a silent front sprocket... I'm running one now and it has the rubber cushioning
