All 650's Speedo issues.

Hi guys, new to this forum crack so apologise if I’m in the wrong place etc.

Been riding for a few years but just got my full licence 6 months ago & bought myself a cbr 650 f 2018 ABS.

Issue is this, it’s happened on two occasions now where I’ve washed my bike and afterwards the speedo stops working and it throws an EML, I’ve looked the code up and it’s to do with the wheel speed sensor, last time it ended up just going away so I’m hoping that’s the case this time, but I don’t understand why?

I’m assuming I’m getting something wet that I shouldn’t be so I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the situation for me?

If you download the service manual from the resources section there is a chapter on reading the blink code. That number helps narrow it down.

Sounds like you are getting water in the connector for the speed sensor. Make sure its properly sealed.
