Hello, I'm a new member on this forum and just purchased a 2018 CB650F yesterday. The first owner installed a tail tidy and the second owner does not have the OEM original parts. I would like to restore this back to original configuration as this arrangement does not even have turn signals. Does anyone here have an OEM original tail light, license plate bracket and turn signal assembly that they are interested in selling? I am also in need of the tool kit and the owners manual. Thanks for any help!

Forgive me, but just to play devils advocate here, I think most if not all tail tidy’s have a way to mount signals to them. Does yours? Might be similar in price to get aftermarket signals. And, to each their own, but I think it’ll look great, and also tidy if you will 😉. Anybody I’ve ever met who doesn’t have a tail tidy, would like one but just hasn’t got around to it yet. But if you’re a stock/oem kinda dude, that’s cool too, nothing wrong with that. Post some pics of your baby, let’s see what you’re working with.

Apparently i have the "Value" edition, no provision to accept turn signals. Yes, I think I prefer to go back to OEM. As popular as these things seem to be there must be a few of the OEM components in someone's garage in a box gathering dust. So I'll need turn signals and the whole Enchilada. And thanks in advance for any help!

Well if you don’t have any luck, the good news is you’re just missing a couple of small L brackets. Your tail tidy is from TST industries. They sell the brackets and everything else you might need for signals set up. License plate light, plug and play wiring adapters, etc. I have their setup on my bike. Really good stuff, I recommend. And for some reason they’re doing 20% off for Valentine’s Day!! Cuz you know women love receiving motorcycle accessories for Valentine’s Day gifts 😂.

Sounds like everyone’s got some ideas on the signals and mounts but for the tool kit be aware that Honda discontinued supplying tool kits around ‘11 or ‘13 and there won’t be one in the bike, except maybe an allen wrench and a helmet lock. You can go on to the Honda microfiche and buy everything, it’s usually around $50 from a discount supply shop like Revzilla or Ron Ayers, if you want the kit.

For the owners manual I’d buy a used one from eBay or a new one from the dealer, they are not super expensive. Or you can find an online one, I think Honda still posts them on their website, and download a copy of the service manual from our site here in the resources section.
