CB650R Thoughts on phone mount position?

Hi folks. Just a quick informal poll: where do you prefer to position your phone mount? Dead center or off to the side closer to the grips?

Searching around online I see a lot of people do center, and in theory that's what I would prefer too, but I can't see how I can manage that on my CB without blocking my view of the dash. Does anyone here do center mount on a CB, and if so how did you solve that dash visibility issue?

Mine is to the left hand side, can still see all the instruments and the phone too

I have a RAM-MOUNT with a X-GRIP and a short arm located in the center of the handlebar. I've replaced one of the four bolt of the holder upper handlebar by a RAM-B-367U

I was thinking of using a Handlebar mount ball on my CB650F, to mount my Satnav on. Does anyone know what size bolts hold the handlebars on (4 bolts in Picture) as thought it may be tidier that adding another bracket to my Handlebars.

I have the CBR which takes a stem mount fine but my previous Suzuki GXS-S125 naked also too the centre stem mount with a minor trim of the Quadlock Stem mount to miss the bars in the centre clamp.
Haven’t seen the CB650 but you might be able to Do the same!
