All 650Fs Throttle feels weird

Hey folks, not long joined but im having a little bit of bother with my bikes throttle.
2014 cb650f 20k miles,
My throttle since I got the bike has been stiff and like a hair trigger at lower speeds. Also occasionally the revs stick at around 3k when im at a stop unless I let the clutch out a little.
Any advice would be great

Start at the basics: take the throttle assembly apart and check for binding or anything else holding it up. Check your throttle cables as well to be sure they move freely. Reassemble and check cable adjustment is within spec. Your bike is 12+ years old according to your profile, could be any number of things so start simple and basic.

If that doesn’t stop the occasion high idle we can start looking at things with that.
