Hi everyone!
I own a cbr650r 2020, I have replaced my chain and sprocket 2 weeks ago. I have rode the bike 100-200km I’m and decided to check the chain tension. I have found out that the tension is different when I spin it.(but the tension is still ok, some parts it’s 25mm and some some parts are 30mm).
I’m not sure if it’s ok, I went to my mechanic and he said he can do nothing about it, which was a weird answer.
P.s I bought a d.i.d chain and JT sprockets

I would say that’s not super unusual and probably within a tolerance of sprocket and chain making. You can recheck your sprockets and be sure they are mounted flush, tight and straight.

But if you’ve done that and still have done tighter and looser areas, I’d say run it, and make sure you adjust the chain in the tighter areas.

I tried to check everything I can, even my mechanic said he can’t do shit about which is weird🤔
I guess I’ll get more kilometers with it and see how it goes, thanks :)

looks normal... also try to check chain slack when bike is on the ground, better if you ask someone to check while you sit on the bike

Yeah I know that, on the side stand is good, but when I check it on the rear stand it does that.
Should I try doing it on the side stand and and move the bike?

Having changed the sprockets and chain on mine a few months ago I found the process of picking how long to leave the chain a little finicky. If it seems to be one tight spot, would it be the master link? Maybe the rivet is compressed too much?
It sounds like a weird problem.
