What should we expect for the new 650r 2024 model?

I'm not sure at the above info is correct regarding the CB1000 and the e clutch. I only heard about the CB650 getting it in 2024. Also adds about 4.5lbs to the bike.

Nice for new buyers, but I don't see a reason to "upgrade", which is great for my wallet, lol. Now, if that new CBR600 comes to the USA ...

That looks hideous; it looks much larger than the pictures I’d previously seen. I thought it was a v twin at first….

not planning to upgrade but I really love the new tail end and I'm researching if I can retrofit it on my '23 once parts are available.

I saw one guy here that pop out the rear seats

The frame is 99% same, the only changes are in the rear end, but it seems retrofit is possible for '21~'23 models if we cut out the sides of the rear part of the frame.

Edit: just a speculation, I think it might fit without cutting the sides of the rear part of the frame, since the fairing has enough space inside for it.

Thats some good news! I'm waiting for delivery of my 2024 CBR650R (10th Feb) and I've already bought the Evotech tail tidy with an agreement that they'll take it back if it doesn't fit, but hopefully all will be the same under there!

with regards to the gear change light discovery, I've recently on two occasions seen this big yellow T flash up a few times- roll on drier weather

Hey man - did you end up installing the Evotech tail tidy on your 2024? I have a CB650R 2024 and trying to understand whether the Evotech tail tidy fits the new model or not.

Thank you!

Hi,
I have the 24 model and can confirm it fits 👍🏻
A little tight when you do the bolts up, it’s only against plastic though. You could probably trim to suit, but I found just tightening the bolts was fine. They actually list it for the 24 on the website now.

Does anyone know if the <2023 side air intake shrouds/scoops have the same bolt pattern for the 2024? Can this be retro-fitted to replace the ugly 2024 ones on the CB650R?
