So the issue is I accidentally tore a lead out of it, and these harnesses appear to be molded or permanently sealed. So thought it might be best to find a replacement connector and just recrimp. The male side of the connector is the one i need to rebuild. I realize there's nothing magical about the connector and can just use bullet connector or something, but just was curious if this is a commonly-used push connector type as its secure, insulated and convenient.
You'd need to identify the name of the specific manufacturer of the connector to source the opposing side. Maybe the heated grip manufacturers customer service could provide that info?
OR....quicker and easier than trying to source the original, I'd think. ....your local auto parts store should offer a Delphi Metri-pac 2 wire connector set. Affordable, weatherproof, good quality, though you'd have to replace both male and female.
