Hi guys and girls.
I had an issue when I went out to the bike the morning and it would not start (just a click / thud from the starter motor or under the seat).
It had been ridden the last few days and was all fine so not lack of use.
I played with the kill switch, side stand, moved it a little bit in gear and then just as I was about to put it back in the garage I tried one more time and it started fine.
Got to work and tried it a few times when I got there - 8 hours later and same thing but was in a rush as raining so managed to get it going and came home.
I've checked the battery voltage which is 12.8v, removed all the main powers and grounds I can see and checked all the fuses and all seem ok.
I'm starting to think it's the starter motor or solenoid (are they the same part) although it won't fault again now so I'm letting it cool down.
Any ideas on what it might be or other tests I can do as I need it for work each day 🤦🏻♂️
