Ahhh. I read that as you had moved on but kept your 650F, either for yourself or someone you were close to.There was a clue in my comment. I got a newer CBR650F 🙂
I would like to use accessories port to connect oxford heated grips and wireless quad lock phone charger with the cable, shown below.
Could you please tell me is it a bad idea? Will I have any problems with fuses or something else in this case?
Thank you!No problems at all. I've done exactly as you've described and it's fine.
Well this is awkward. I don't see it on my bike at all.
I would say Honda have just relocated it somewhere else when they redesigned the headlight fixings.
It will be up under there somewhere, the question is where!
As the connector is used by the OEM Honda heated grips, I doubt they will have buried it too deeply (as no one will accept 4 hours of labour to install heated grips, just because you need to remove the headlight!). It doesn't make sense.
My original advice stands ... remove the side fairing panels and have a good look around under there for it!

For 650f - CB is behind left fairing, CBR behind headlight.
650R is on left side of Airbox I think? (someone who owns one can correct me)

Share a close up pic of the connectors please!
I used this for a clean jobAny ideas on how to crimp the connectors? Someone suggested using pliers and a screwdriver but still not quite sure how to do it! Thanks.
Ah, I saw that 8 pin connector but didn't think it was for the accessories, I ordered a pack of connectors but it didn't have an 8pin. Bummer. Was hoping there was another 4 pin tucked away under the seat so I could wire up a USB for pillion heated vest. The installation instructions for the oem 12v socket show a 4 pin on the right side under the seat though? Edit, never-ending that, I see now that I'm looking at instructions for a 650rDlc yes, 2 pin yes.
The accessory connector under the seat on the 650f is a 6 or 8 way as it offers more than just power.
Check out the wiring diagram in the service manual for details.
