Hi all,

So I bought the CBR650R last month and am absolutely loving the bike - as much as lockdown and the weather has allowed me to ride it anyway!

I've been looking for crash protection for it but want something that looks good, performs well, and is reasonably priced and came across the Puig Pro 7070N sliders.

Now I know that Puig don't specifically say that these fit the CBR650R but I thought I'd take a punt as it's the same engine as the CB650R and was prepared for some minor cutting of the fairing if needed.

For anyone else in the same boat, I can confirm that they do not fit the CBR650R. I can make the metal mounting arm fit with some trimming of the fairing, but the main problem is the big friction block which would require cutting into the outer part of the fairing and the shape would make it fugly.

So the search continues.... I've read the other threads on here and aesthetically the best one is Evotech, but £200 just for the slider???

I'll probably end up getting the full R&G set for ~£330

My Puig Slider just arrived yesterday. need help identified the Torque as am confused looking at which is the actual screw in the service manual.
Puig little paper calls for 59nm, but need to be sure the spec on honda is calling the same torque. and the slider did not mention what torque !

tks in advance.
