Hello CB650R owners!!!!
How are you? (hope you doing gooooooddddd!)

I want to ask and get your help about Crash bar i got installed yesterday...
After i left my garage i noticed that i feel strange vibrations on specific rpms.
I bought and got installed the following crash bar: https://sw-motech.com/en/products/protection/crash+bar/4052572033197.htm
I feel the vibrations on 4300 and on 4900 rpms, at those rpms the vibrations most noticeable before 4300 i don't feel them and after 4900 i don't feel them but the passenger feel them weaker then on 4300 and 4900.
I feel those vibrations on both sides but on the left they are stronger, the places on the motorcycle i feel them are the seat and the handle bar (left strong, right weak).
Did some one installed the same crash bar and have a clue what and where something went wrong?
I really annoying as i really love the motorcycle and those vibrations ruin my fun... :(

BTW, it feels like two gear boxes rotating and those gear boxes aren't lubricated...
Thanks for reading and trying to help, i really appreciate it!

Crashbars usually amplify the vibration of the bike. How strong vibration is perceived is very subjective.
What you can do is:
- recheck the bolts and torque
- add some rubber washers between the crash bar and the mounting points

A similar level of protection can be achieved by engine covers and frame sliders without any extra vibration.

HI Trippy,
TNX for your answer! i really appreciate it!
I'll tell the guys at the garage to check those things...

Little think that on my mind... doesn't crash bars are specific? aren't they meant for the model and tested?
I don't understand why would it vibrate if it's from known company and meant for this model...
I owned 2019 cd650r and i ordered K2 crash bars like those https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/401955918120 and nothing was vibrating...

I didn't want engine covers and frame sliders because they aren't protecting your legs, crash bar is more solid and wider so it protects your legs if a car is side crash into you (from experience)

Companies test them for protection and weight. Sw motech are lighter and usually vibrate more than the cheaper ones (heavier) or expensive ones (Touratech).

The bars in the first link are mounted higher and the pipes are longer between welds/bends/mounting points. The band in front of the radiator might also amplify things.
